Boingo Wireless has announced an agreement with Samsung to provide Boingo's wireless access software on wireless-capable Samsung digital cameras. Boingo is the world's largest network of Wi-Fi hotspots. Boingo has Wi-Fi access points at more than 125,000 hotspots worldwide, including Starbucks coffee stores, hundreds of airports and thousands of hotels.

Initially, Boingo software will be pre-installed on the Samsung CL80 digital camera (known in Europe as the ST5500). The CL80 is a compact point-and-shoot camera with a 14.2 megapixel sensor, HD video recording, a 3.7-inch wide 1,152,000 dot AMOLED touch-screen LCD, 7x optical zoom and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Users will be offered three months of complimentary Boingo Wi-Fi access. Support for additional Samsung models will be announced as they become available.

The Samsung CL80 digital camera with Boingo pre-installed is available in most regions worldwide. U.S. availability will be announced in the near future. Customers will receive the first three months of Boingo free by registering at Boingo's webiste. After the promotion period, customers will have the option of subscribing to Boingo for $7.95 per month.
